I stayed there for a few days in April and if on a budget it's a fine choice. Ok morning buffet, wi-fi worked (most of the time) and placed close to everyday-shopping. I do agree that it could need an overhaul generally, but for 1.000 bht a day I was more than pleased. If you have your business in the Lad Prao area and again are on a budget, it's worth considering.

Old, water damaged, stains, not updated or maintained. Nothing works. noisy A/C, leaking faucets, dirty hallways..... Perhaps the worst place I have ever stayed at. They serve breakfast, but you got to get there early!! DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE!

This hotel is old and needs updating. This is not so uncommon but it is also rather dirty. I can put up with older fixtures and surrounding as long as everything is clean. The bathrooms are original and still have an ashtray built into the toilet paper holder. The shelves in our suite were full of dust and haven't been wiped off in weeks. The halls are dingy with dust all over the light fixtures. It seems like this place will be sold or torn down soon. The buffet breakfast was ok.

If the experience was being filmed for candid camera, it may just have been funny... The garish Egyptian themed hotel was terrible, none of the front staff spoke a word of English. The hotel was badly lit and down a back alley road which at night was full to the rafters of rats. Now do not misunderstand me, I have been to and love Asia but this was awful. Breakfast was in the main hotel which required a collection of a pink ticket- procuring this was an event itself from staff who barley looked 15 years of age and spent most of her time sleeping. The breakfast was from 7am until 9am- aren't most hotels until at least 10am? The breakfast was poor, the food cold and beyond taste and rexture. The fried eggs were obviously cooked at 4am and left to sweat it out amongst driend up chicken sausages and stale bread. the juice and coffee were only different in so far as colour. There were no cereals or fresh milk available for the Western traveller. So on one morning we opted for the Asian cuisine and that was no better. We were given single beds and the language barrier meant this could not be rectified, there were ants in the room and the hygiene standards were below par. We even found somebody else's poo in our toilet. You try explaining that to the hotel staff even with actions and gestures. We were also travelling with a young child and on one particularly rainy afternoon, we tried to order room service and was told 'it is raining' by the main part of the hotel. There was no room service book in our room despite several requests. However, an hour later (yep, when it had stopped raining) the menu turned up and the waiter waited for our order. We decided that we would head to Koh Samet for the weekend as we could no longer bear the location or the hotel. The hotel manager argued with us about the cost of the taxi and agreed a price which turned out to be over 1000 BHT more expensive. The facilities were poor and the website has been photo shopped. the swimming pool was dangerous and falling to bits. The hotel was noisy and uncomfortable however, the TV worked.

Had a roller coaster ride after staying at this hotel, it is a pretty decent hotel but their are better options if you pay a tad more, it is very old and an ageing hotel and the rooms too are a bit dated. Service is poor and needs improvement. The only advantage is that, as this is located very close by to the water way, you can reach central Bangkok in no time when compared to a taxi, but you must remember boat rides are not comfortable and are usually crowded.

Pretty basic. Room was a bit run down as was the hallways. Windows in room seriously in need of a clean. That said the bed was really comfortable. At 500 baht a night cant expect a lot. The photos online are a bit decieving. It was ok....i guess.

Hi every one ! Firstly, I strongly recommend that you should stay away this hotel at all cost. I accommodate in this hotel since May of this year but the memories of nightmare about this hotel are still fresh in mind. I came with a big group - actually, we are not the grumpy guests. At the first time, the wide and shiny lobby promise you this would be a luxury and clean hotel. After a few minutes once we have complete the check-in and go to the room, it was my bad surprise. The room is rather narrow (about 4.5 x 4.5 m) and it was totally dirty. The wooden furniture is out of date and it was decaying. The restroom is very small and the sink was broken. Moreover, there were a lot of zap or a kind of insect in side the bathroom - you might prefer to stay in this hotel if you are an Entomologist! About the bed of my room, the buffer is too old and I could not sleep, likely you are lying on a hole on bed. Moreover, the AC did not make the cooler air and after finding out the problem, the housekeeper told me that it was run out the gas as a reason. Beside that, the door's control panel of my room was burned (?? no reason), it's might cause of electric shock or something bad ... We have to you the regular key - not the magnetic key. Finally, the atmosphere of this hotel make you feel like you are living in a old hospital. Pros: - There were only on positive point. You would find a street coffee shop on the left - just 50 metes from the hotel, the coffee is good and it's gained 1 star from me. - It's near the stadium and might be good enough for the football's fans. Cons: - As above complains. The location is very far from the city central. The hotel is located very near a big dirty sewer of the city.

This hotel started by being greeted by a youth wearing the dirtiest white shirt I've seen. The room smells very musty. The bar of soap on offer already used, contains previous occupiers pube! Get me out of here. They charge for wifi!

I spent a total of 7 days here, and it is an average hotel. Location wise, it might not be the best choice as it's pretty far from the tourist hubs of Bangkok compared to the ones in Khao San or Silom area. Nevertheless, the presence of a lot of guests during the time I was there would suggest that the hotel is pretty popular for local and foreign travelers. I do recall having good impressions on their breakfasts. I also remember going to another building, behind the main one in front, that have themed rooms! They looked fun! The hotel would have worked really well for me if not of the troubles I got with most of my taxi drivers locating where the place is. I suggest that have the name of the hotel written in Thai language for it to be shown to drivers.

It is all about location, and the location is the best thing one can tell about this hotel. It is just a 5 - 10 minutes walk to the new national stadium. The next stop of the Khlong speed boats is just around the corner. The rooms in this hotel are all equipped with air condition, which is rather noicy, unfortunaltely. Big, sun isolated windows of which one can be opened. The rooms are of decent size, the bath equipment room is working properly. A little desk and two chairs complete the furniture. Insulation against sound is mediocre, so earplugs are highly recommended. Cleanliness is the worst part about this hotel, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Tables are really dirty and sticky and the floor is messy. The hotel has a small pool, but i never used it due to my timetable. I stayed there for two weaks, and the great location kept me staying there.
